Symbolicus
He rules the letters and the words. Therefore, he carries within himself a collection of all literary creation, and thus has the ability to project holograms of different characters or objects from fairy tales and literature. He understands all languages and often helps with solving conflicts.
Electricus
Electricus has complete power over electricity and all other forms of energy. He is the only one with the ability to transform, and he transforms into a small plane with a propeller. He emits a ray of electricity (small lightning) and with that he can burn or ignite something. He can also use a propeller to cause wind, and for example blow away the clouds. He is the first Smartian discovered by Puzzle and is a symbol of Tesla’s creation.
Bionicus
He rules nature and understands the living world. He can communicate with plants and animals, understand their problems and they help him when needed. He can imitate animal sounds and project a hologram of a particular being if necessary. He teaches our heroes about the importance of the Living World-flora and fauna and instills in them the importance of environmental preservation.
Numericus
He rules the numbers. He possesses the ability to add, subtract, enlarge, and reduce everything around him. He can easily create a forest from a single tree or shrink the Dragon to the size of a mosquito. Besides, there is no such number puzzle that Numericus cannot solve, and he tackles math tasks with love. Puzzle can’t really count, but that’s why she has a powerful Numericus who teaches her something new every day. Heroes are inspired by Numericus to use their mathematical creativity and logical thinking.
Puzzle
Puzzle is a seven year old girl, the guardian of Smartians and the only child who knows how to unlock the Smartians cube. She’s playful and energetic, smart, and courageous. She is a real character with all the emotions, thoughts and attitudes of a seven-year-old child. She is curious, impulsive, and hasty, but also observant, well-mannered, and always positive. She hasn’t even started school yet, but she can read and do basic math. She enjoys puzzles and mysteries and quickly picks up new ideas and new knowledge. Although she did not like the tomcat Machak at first, he eventually became her best friend. Puzzle believes that everyone is essentially good, even evil exhaust Ignor.
Machak
Machak is Tesla’s real childhood friend, and he used to be a real cat. But in Tesladnia, he becomes a boy and Puzzle’s faithful companion in every adventure. He is a permanent resident of Teslandia which he knows like the back of his hand. He is very mature and intelligent, but he has a bit of a love/hate relationship with Puzzle. On the one hand, he likes her and on the other, he is irritated by her ignorance. Although he looks arrogant, he is a very faithful friend and is protective of Puzzle. He knows Smartians’ strange language, so he translates what they say.
Ignor
An evil exhaust that fell off a truck and into a hat and ended up in Teslandia. He loves gas, smoke and hates knowledge. So, he tries to steal Smartians and turn Tesla’s inventions into his own wealth-generating tools.
Tesla
The series is partly based on the biography of the scientist and inventor – Nikola Tesla, emphasizing his contribution to preservation of a nature. In the show, he is depicted as silly, funny, and kind. “Uncle Tesla,” as Puzzle calls him, is incredibly concerned about the harmony and protection of the nature. He also teaches Puzzle of the value of divercity in the world and inspires her to protect it. Tesla is a beloved menthor of our heroes who gift them with knowledge and equpment (the Smartians) to solve every problems.
